If you are a new visitor to this site you are very welcome to browse the website to see the group activities, monthly speaker meetings and outings that are organised for our members. If you wish to join our branch of the U3A then click the "Join the U3A" link on the left of the screen and provide the details requested, our membership secretary will contact you in due course.

If you are a member and new to this site you will have been sent your membership number together with a password that you can use to log in to the members facilities within the website. We advise that once you have logged in on this first occasion you should change your password to something memorable to you.

9th May 2018Isle of WightTravel by Red Jet from Town Quay at 11.45am. Tickets will have to be bought individually as block bookings are not available.

We then go by pre-booked water taxi to Breeze Restaurant, Island Harbour Marina for lunch (at own expense). The water taxi will return us to the Red Jet for our homeward journey.

Cost £23.00 to cover Red Jet and water taxi, lunch extra. Contact Gay Springett
11th June 2018Poppies Wave at Fort Nelson, near PortsmouthThis sweeping arch and weeping window of iconic bright red poppy heads were part of the display at the Tower of London, 2014 to commemorate WW1. Fort Nelson is one of the venues lucky enough to host this touring display.

With a huge fort to explore, amazing artillery pieces to discover and scenic views to enjoy, there’s always something different to see and do at Fort Nelson. We plan to run a half day coach trip while the poppy display is on. We intend this to be a three hour visit, enabling time for a cold lunch in the cafe (at own expense), leaving at 2.30 pm
